 My daughter first began attending Rainbow Child Development Center when she was 10 weeks old, as a first time mother I was very skeptical of who I wanted to leave my child with as I prepared to return to the work force following my maternity leave. Upon my first visit to the center, I quickly found that the Davison facility was very clean, organized and efficient. Staff was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but immediately very helpful and comforting to the stresses of a first time working mom. A strong focus to each child's needs and development was something that I could be assured that my daughter would also receive. The level of security and attentiveness at the Davison location is simply remarkable. Security codes have always assured me that my child is in a secured environment that not just anyone can enter, and the staff is extremely sharp in knowing who is coming and going from the buidling over the course of the day. Staff make it a point of knowing my schedule and who is authorized to pick my daughter up when she attends, the strong bridge of communication between her primary caregivers and I allow me to know that my daughter is receiving the best possible care while I am at work. Learning colors, shapes, sign language, reading books, arts & crafts, and overall social interaction is just some of the phenomenal things my daughter has experienced while attending RCDC. Special events such as their "Mommy to Mommy" sales, RCDC carnival, Pictures with Santa, and Date Night festivities are just a few of the things that I, as her parent, have been able to take advantage of and enjoy. The staff at RCDC feel very much like family to us now after almost a year of enrollment, and I can't imagine my daughter attending any other facility. In my opinion, you owe it to your child to receive the very best, especially during their first years, and the staff at RCDC Davison is just that--THE VERY BEST!! For anyone else who is looking for care an extremely high quality, professional, educated and overall outstanding learning center for their child....look no further!

My daughter has been at Rainbow since she was 12 weeks old. She is currently almost 2 and a half and in the Toddler 2 classroom. Her growth and development has been remarkable through the knowledgeable and caring staff. Her current room, Toddler 2, is teaching her the basics she will rely on for a lifetime. She is becoming more independant and enjoys her friends and teachers. One of her favorite times of the day is circle time. I believe it is directly becuase of her experience at Rainbow that she loves to read and write. I am amazed at the new activities she participates in daily. She loves to show me all of her art projects hanging on the walls and enthusiastically relays to me what she did in the Imaginaition Station. She is excited each day about coming to Rainbow and knowing that as a parent is invaluable. I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the warm welcome my son and I have had this past week. We have had some very disappointing experiences with other child care centers and meeting your staff and seeing the positive response from my son makes me feel so wonderful.
I work for MetLife and Rainbow is offered as our back up child-care, its an invaluable benefit and experiencing how warm and friendly the staff is makes it even better. My son and I can now look forward to those days we need back up care, and its great to not have any doubt that my son is getting great care and having a blast.

Changing my daughter's preschool was a scary thing. Not sure I could find the same level of comfort in a new school, I went on my search. Kerry, made my choice easy. She was friendly and patient. She actually gave me the school tour twice. To further enhance the new parent experience, she threw a family barbecue prior to the beginning of the school year to welcome all parents, both new and existing. Kerry had all the staff at the event and gave all parents to meet their perspective care-givers. She has had several functions throughout the school year that involves parents in the individual child's daily school events and routines, which has been a great privilege to experience. My child has enjoyed her activities immensely and is often singing the songs or telling me all the things she learned in school that day. Kerry has further promoted the school as a community rather than just a school. With the staff offering to babysit on their off hours and having a parents night out at the school twice a month, it's a great benefit of how the school understands a working parent's schedule. Rainbow Child Development Center has made a great choice in having Kerry de Voogd as director and has been and is a positive experience for both myself and my child. RCDC has been great for our busy family. We can always trust that our daughter is well cared for and participating in age appropriate activities.
I've felt her teachers have always taken sincere interest in her care and education. We noticed a dramatic difference in her activity level and comprehension ability when we moved her to RCDC from an at home daycare.
