Rainbow Child Development CenterInfant Program Rainbow Child Development Center provides a caring environment where your child’s physical and psychological needs are met. Babies have the opportunity to develop and grow in a stimulating environment.
Our center provides an infant curriculum which focuses on each child’s developmental milestones. The curriculum works with children to learn about themselves (self-concept), about their feelings (emotional), about socialization (social), gross and fine motor skills (physical), language and cognitive skills. Children learn to feel through developing trust in their caregivers. As children’s physical and emotional needs are met, they build a sense of trust for themselves and everything else around them. Children develop through different stages of emotional need. We are using visual and auditory activities to aide in the development of sight and sound in an enriched environment. These activities along with responsive and supportive staff will promote each child’s enjoyment for learning. Young infants learn to relate to others through the daily interaction of both parents and teachers. As infants develop a relationship with our staff, it promotes positive social development. Children gain control of their large and small motor skills overtime as they explore through activities provided in our center. Development of these skills will enable each child to gain strength and mobility to participate in many learning opportunities. Infants begin to construct their thinking process by interacting with people and objects. Infants use their senses to actively explore, and we are committed to providing activities to increase cognitive development. Rainbow Child Development Center provides a positive environment which establishes a foundation to reinforce learning in later years. Each child is treated as an individual and we work with our families to ensure a transition is established when adjusting to our center. Your children receive care in a warm and affectionate environment.
